Deploying a unified, secure network

Stacking heterogeneous security products creates blind spots and expensive complexity. The alternative: a network designed around security from the start, where firewall, switching, Wi-Fi, access and endpoints cooperate and are driven from a single console. This is one of our core areas, on which we run large-scale deployments.

The challenge

Security built in, not bolted on

Many infrastructures grew by accretion: a firewall from one vendor, switches from another, Wi-Fi from a third, an independent antivirus… The result: multiple consoles, inconsistent policies, blind spots between the parts and a heavy operational load.

The unified approach reverses the logic: the network is designed around security. The firewall becomes the core, switching and Wi-Fi inherit the same policies, network access control (NAC) qualifies every device that connects, endpoints are protected and integrated, and access to resources goes through a Zero Trust model (ZTNA). All of it is driven and correlated from a central console and analytics engine.

The outcome: a smaller attack surface, consistent policies end to end, full visibility and simpler operations. This is an area where we design, integrate and operate large-scale deployments, from a single site to a multi-site network.

Deployment of the firewall as the core of the network, definition of zones and of the segmentation policies applied end to end.

Network convergence (switching & Wi-Fi)

Integration of switching and Wi-Fi under unified management: network devices inherit the security policies and the visibility of the core.

Access control (NAC) & authentication

Every device and every user is identified, qualified and placed in the right zone, with central authentication.

Endpoints & Zero Trust access (ZTNA)

Protection and integration of workstations, and replacement of flat remote access with a Zero Trust model: access is granted resource by resource, based on identity and device posture.

Control from a single console, event correlation for detection, and operations over time (updates, changes, support), with a managed service or SOC option.
